Vanity Worx · Finishes
The finishes.
The studio's own woods and lacquer, and a catalogue of 77 premium panel finishes supplied through Richelieu Hardware: Alvic Zenit supermatt and Brillanté high gloss, and textured melamines by Tafisa, Uniboard and EGGER. Every one can be chosen in the Vanity Worx designer.
Kloset Worx studio finishes
Solid wood, veneer and hand-sprayed lacquer.
The finishes the studio is known for. Walnut and white oak as solid wood and sequence-matched veneer, white oak taken darker, reeded oak, and lacquer sprayed in any color you name. Wood veneers can also be sourced through Richelieu's CEDAN program for species beyond these.
Kloset Worx, with CEDAN veneers via Richelieu
Studio veneers and specialty woods.
Sequence-matched veneers and solid wood beyond the house walnut and oak: rift and cerused oak, ebonized and bleached finishes, ash, cherry, sapele and wenge. Each is sampled from the flitch before anything is cut.
Kloset Worx
Studio high-gloss lacquer.
Hand-sprayed polyester lacquer, sanded and polished to a mirror between coats. Any color, matched to a sample.
Kloset Worx
Metals and leather.
Brushed brass, blackened steel and bronze sheet laid onto panels and door fronts, and full-grain leather inlays and wrapped fronts.
Alvic, via Richelieu
Zenit supermatt by Alvic.
UV-cured lacquer on MDF with a 3% gloss level: a silky, fingerprint-resistant surface that reads like hand-sprayed matte paint. For handleless and push-to-open fronts.
Alvic, via Richelieu
Brillanté high gloss by Alvic.
A lacquer finish with a gloss level over 95%, a deep mirror effect, and an antibacterial surface treatment. Shown to best effect on flat slab fronts.
Tafisa, via Richelieu
Tafisa textured melamine (TFL).
Decorative paper thermofused onto a recycled-wood core, with embossed-in-register textures. Durable, consistent and the value choice for interiors, closets and secondary rooms.
Uniboard, via Richelieu
Uniboard TFL.
Thermofused panels with matching edgebanding, laminate and five-piece doors, in Standard and Signature texture collections.
EGGER, via Richelieu
EGGER Eurodekor.
European decors on particleboard or MDF, with textile and linen textures that suit quiet, tailored interiors.
Tops and surfaces
Stone, quartz and marble.
Quartz for everyday durability, marble for powder rooms and vanities, and natural stone where a single slab should carry the room. Solid surfaces by Meganite and Hanex are available through Richelieu for seamless, repairable tops.
Manufacturer names and codes belong to their makers. On-screen swatches are representations of each finish; real samples come to your free design visit, and every finish is confirmed with a sample before fabrication.
Are catalogue finishes cheaper than wood or lacquer?
Textured melamine panels usually cost a little less than lacquer; Zenit supermatt and Brillanté gloss a little more. The designer shows the difference live when you switch finishes.
Can I mix finishes?
Yes. A common pairing is a walnut or white oak feature with Zenit supermatt cabinetry around it, or a gloss front against matte interiors.
Do the panel finishes come with matching edges?
Yes. The Alvic, Tafisa, Uniboard and EGGER programs include matching edgebanding, so an edge reads as part of the door.
How do I know what a finish really looks like?
Ask for samples at your free design visit. Screen swatches are representations; the sample in your light is what you approve.
Where do the panels come from?
They are supplied through Richelieu Hardware, the North American distributor for Alvic, Tafisa, Uniboard and EGGER decorative panels, and fabricated in the Kloset Worx studio.
